Well as the title says I'm just doing this update to post some more drawings/paintings.
I am actually quite proud of this new Bleach pencil drawing (as well as the colored version). I had wanted to do a group picture for a long time but in the past I could never get it just right. This time I tried drawing them on a set of stairs which seemed to work a lot better. With the coloring I wanted to do a sunset thing and after a few days work (And a lot of frustrations) I managed to come up with what is seen below.
I am also including some commissions I've done lately (that haven't been posted before).

Just a fast update for today. I recently finished my Soi fon and Yoruichi pencil drawing, so this update is just to post that. As always I included the non colored pencil only version.

First, we're happy to announce that the team has identified and fixed the issue with the YouTube conduit; you can now find and add videos from YouTube to your library and posts. As always, thanks for your patience!
The other news we have today is about a new addition to the Six Apart family: TypePad Micro, a new free level of TypePad that is streamlined for microblogging. We see a new form of blogging emerging that lives between the quick status updates of Twitter and Facebook and the long-form posts of "classic" blogging; TypePad Micro is designed to meet that need. You can read more about TypePad Micro in Chris Alden's post on the Everything TypePad blog.
A lot of the new capabilities we've added to TypePad this year were actually inspired by some of the best things about Vox: favoriting, member profiles, a dashboard to follow other bloggers, and easy ways to post content from other social media sites. But the things that make Vox different from TypePad are still there: Vox has always been -- and still is -- the best place for "friends and family" blogging, where you're in control over who sees what. TypePad, on the other hand, is built for the blogger who wants, no, craves, attention.
Do you have a passion or interest you want to share with people beyond your Vox neighborhood? If so, we'd love it if you tried out TypePad Micro. Maybe you've always wanted to start that obsessive blog that's just about waffle restaurants. Or want a place to share videos of your favorite band (Jonas Brothers, anyone? Anyone? ...). TypePad Micro's great for those topic-specific blogs. Take it for a spin and let us know what you think.
On the Vox front, our designers are working on some cool new themes (coming soon!). We'd also love to hear your thoughts about where we should take Vox in the coming year. What are the key things you'd like to see for Vox? If you've had a chance to use TypePad this year, what are the features there that we should bring over to Vox? And, if you're thinking big thoughts, how could we connect the Vox and TypePad communities in order to bring together bloggers and their shared passions? Your feedback is really important to us, so please leave a comment here, or shoot me a message.
And again, thanks for your patience as we found and fixed the YouTube bug!

As many of you have noticed, the YouTube Conduit is not working. I am so sorry about this; I know how frustrating it is.
The team is looking into how to get this fixed and I will update you as soon as I hear something. In the meantime, not all is lost... There is a work-around for posting videos.
When you're in the Compose Screen, just click on "embed." Ignore the fact that it says "Widget" before everything because you can definitely use this to embed videos as well. You'll just need to input the embed code from the video, enter a title (if you want) and hit OK.
It might not show up perfectly in your compose screen, but when you hit "Save," your video should appear just the way you wanted it to.
Hopefully this will allow you to keep posting videos while we figure out what's happening on our end.
As always, thanks for your patience.
Well I finally finished my next pencil/digital colored Bleach pic. People just seem to love them and I have a blast drawing them so expect more in the near future.
This time I decided to draw Ichigo and Renji. The plans for this was to extend the Byakuya and Rukia drawing I did awhile ago. It does more or less line up but the heights were a big issue. I also had big issues with drawing Ichigo this time. No matter what I did I just couldn't get his face right. *sighs* It even got to a point where I was forced to use white out on some parts due to heavy amounts of erasing (And the black smudges left because of that). At one point I was even going to quit and abandon it... but I kept at it and tried my best to fix some of the mistakes as best as I could when I colored it.
That's it for today. I shall post again as soon as I have more art to share. I'm currently working on a pencil Soi fon and Yoruichi pic, and it should be posted in a week or so.
Thanks for all the support!
-Leah

Well as the title says I did another pencil Bleach picture. This time I choose Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. I'm not completely happy with how this one turned out but I'm posting it anyway. I had great difficulty drawing these two (And I almost killed by poor eraser) and even yet there are still a lot of things wrong with it. *sighs* However I am pleased with how the background turned out. I don't often do night skies with moons in pencil so this was good practice. As before I took the time to color it a bit in photoshop. Both versions can be seen below.
In other news I just bought my 3rd BJD a FairyLand Puki Cupid2 (from a member on DoA). For those that don't know Puki's are one, if not the smallest, BJD available and are simply adorable. So rest assure as soon as this little darling arrives home I will make sure and post pics!
Also, my first calendar featuring my art is now available for purchase. Just click the following link http://keelerleah.deviantart.com/art/2010-Fantasy-Art-Calendar-142304994 and take a look.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Go forth and fill your libraries with media.
Seriously, thanks to everyone for being so amazing and patient. You are the reason I love Vox.
Blue News To Play Nashville Showcase
November Event In Front Of Industry Executives
October 29th, 2009, Terre Haute, Indiana
– The band Blue News will play a showcase in front of music industry
representatives on November 6th at Soundcheck Rehearsal Studios in
Nashville, TN. Soundcheck was created by Glenn Frey (of The Eagles) in
1992 and it is now the largest rehearsal studio complex in the world
under one roof. Soundcheck is recognized as the rehearsal venue of
choice by many top touring and recording acts and provided the backline
production for the 2009 CMA’s. The band will play a 3-4 song audition
for representatives from Band With A Mission - a company contracted by
a number of different record labels to find their next artists. During
their trip to Music City, the band will also play a live show at Café
Coco at 7pm on November 5th.
The band Blue News first emerged on the scene in 2006 when their debut album was released by Statue Records Group of Hollywood, CA. Since then, they have generated a growing buzz reaching thousands of fans around the world due to their acclaimed original sound that draws upon various genres. Their unique style has allowed them to connect with fans of all ages around the world and has brought the band many exciting opportunities, like having two of their songs placed on national TV on the series Roadtrip Nation in 2007 and a recent invitation to record at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.
The lineup for Blue News includes; singer, songwriter and guitarist Brent Orndorff – founder of Terre Haute-based independent record label Blame Records, guitarist and backing singer Reggie Raisner - who toured and shared the stage with several big name bands like Nickelback, Hinder & Urge Overkill, and drummer Dustin Richardson - a 20 year old prodigy and a long time student-turned-teacher at Terre Haute’s Conservatory of Music. Over the past few years, the band has been fortunate enough to work together with a talented team of people who believed in the band's music and helped them reach new heights. Since 2006, Blue News has worked with INgrooves Digital Distribution of San Francisco, CA, Vigilant Radio Promotions and Volare Stare Entertainment of Minneapolis, MN. The group has also collaborated in the studio and on stage with a number of local musicians including; Travis Dillon, Eric Rasley, Jon Dacosta & Raven Grant, among others.
The band's latest album is a 13-track LP, Strange Light. Downloads
and CDs are now available online or by calling 1-800-Buy-My-CD and the
band is hoping to get their new record to hit retail store shelves in
the near future. This is the first full-length album recorded and
produced entirely in the band’s own state-of-the-art digital studio and
self-released by Orndorff’s independent record label Blame Records. The
band has an upcoming performance at Stable Studios outside of Spencer,
IN in November, where the show will be recorded for an upcoming live
album release. For more information you can check out Blue News on the
web at www.bluenewsband.com.
I was just told that the Amazon Conduit will be fixed by tomorrow. I will post here as soon as I get word that it's back up and running.
I know this has been frustrating and I am sorry there wasn't more I could do to make it less so. I really appreciate your patience though.
Cheers,
